The material is also better than regular chairs as they need to be lightweight without compromising their strength. Other sport equipments may be needed to play wheelchair sports because when playing in chair you may find that the regular equipments can be more difficult to be handled.

If you want to try to play wheelchair tennis, you should check with your local organization that deals with disabled people. They should be able to suggest places where people can train and participate in wheelchair sports. You can browse around the internet to find these organizations or you can check on your local yellow pages.

There is an international competition for disabled people called Paralympic Games. With proper training, you can participate in wheelchair tennis at this international level and bring glory to your country.
